Aviva Arts launches Resonance, a global in-person retreat program.
Resonance Retreats expand Aviva Arts’ practice of empathy, compassion, personal growth, and relationship to the natural world into lived, embodied experience.
Designed so participants can arrive and be present.
Everything is intentionally structured to remove logistical distractions, including shared meals, accommodation, and daily care, so attention can be directed toward creative practice, reflection, and connection.
More than a retreat, Resonance is a space for skill-building and embodied learning, offering tools to navigate artistic and personal practice in times of complexity.
We build resilience as practice, and create space to imagine and rehearse the worlds we want to live in. A time to resource ourselves so we can show up more fully, with clarity, courage, and care.
This is the moment to join us!
What would it look like to live the world you envision for the future now?
Resonance offers participants affinity spaces to re-tune our relationship to community, culture-building, and our own inner purpose, while exploring what it means to sustain ourselves as we continue showing up for the work of change.
Light, movement, energy are all vibration.
Politics, society, digital communication contribute to isolation, static energy, a feeling of stuckness and divisiveness.
We make attempts to sound out our authentic selves (at work, home, with friends) but cannot make a connection.
Our body acts as a signal tower.
We are not receiving a signal back because outside systems are telling us to stay alert, remain vigilant and fear others. This takes a lot of energy to maintain.
We are tired and seek to numb ourselves in so many ways in order to cope in a system that doesn’t serve our true humanity.
We are the instrument for Resonance.
When we resonate, we are responding to inner knowing, the Great Mystery, our True North.
An Internal Revolution Affects External Outcomes.
When we resonate with ourselves we return to an easeful state of presence and are more willing to release fear and pain.
The effects are immediate and tangible.
We discover a more authentic relationship to belonging.
We recognize our interdependence on the journey of life, feel lighter, welcome being seen, and yearn for the simplicity, the effortlessness of this state of being. We easefully connect with those around us and the more than human world.
We are the answer to our own question.
We are all lineage holders of our ancestors.
Now is the best time to revive ancient indigenous technologies with new eyes to envision better ways forward.
