Farzana

Farzana is delighted to be part of the Resonance Retreats initiative this year in Portugal. Her retreat work began with a simple need to step out of the noise and into something more honest. Through silence, breath, and attention to dreams, I discovered a deeper relationship with myself. What she offers now comes from that lived experience: simple, intentional retreats that invite quiet transformation.

Farzana’s path began in London on a universal Sufi journey rooted in love and inner listening. In 1988, I fell in love with the Dances of Universal Peace and have been dancing ever since. As a certified DUP leader, I include these dances as a somatic, transformative way to connect with the wisdom of the body and heart.

She serves as head of Healing Sufi in the UK and has guided retreats internationally, including leading the first healing silent group retreat in Portugal in 2024. She is  a graduate of Suluk Academy and has worked as a transpersonal psychotherapist since 1992. Farzana’s work is enriched by training with African and Sioux healers, weaving in indigenous practices, ceremony, and a deep connection to nature.
