At Aviva Arts, we believe that arts practice is liberation practice.
Through intersectional storytelling, we enliven our relationship to ourselves, our communities, and the natural world.
In a time of global instability — from federal cuts to the arts, to the lawless arrest and deportation of immigrants, and the ongoing famine and genocide in Gaza and Sudan — Aviva Arts creates much-needed spaces to listen, grieve, inspire, and recognize each other’s humanity.
Now more than ever, creating experiences that offer hope and space for difficult conversations is a vital community resource.
We’re expanding our offerings in innovative ways — and we cannot grow without your vital support!

Join us for Aviva Arts’ Third Annual Community Gathering — a celebration of lyricism, community, and creative resilience.
This year’s theme, “Deeper Roots, Wider Branches”, reflects how we continue to grow locally and globally: deepening our roots in the Bay Area while expanding our creative branches worldwide.
Through the power of poetry, we honor the ways art can hold complexity, beauty, and connection — especially in times of change.
