Join Aviva Arts members Noor and Debórah Adabachi together with Naturalist Pamela Hollings and Dramaturg Vidhu Singh, Ph.D for an outdoor adventure and lunch in the forest in Western Sonoma County!

Discover the resiliency of this mixed forest West of Healdsburg nearly 3 years after the Walbridge fire that burned down 55,000 acres of forest and destroyed 150 homes. See new trees, plants, flowers and evidence of wildlife rebuilding the ecology. Hike the land and hear about forest management practices in play.

Art from Climate Catastrophe: View sculptures made from fire ephemera by Noor Adabachi and hear excerpts from Burning Wild, the play currently in development with Aviva Arts and inspired by Debórah and Noor’s own fire experience on the land.

Community Building: Enjoy an outdoor Mediterranean lunch made with local ingredients. Participate in a nature observation experience with Naturalist Pamela Hollings. Network with new friends and share stories of your own fire resiliency.

New Growth supports Aviva Arts’ production of the full play, Burning Wild.
